Obituary

Funeral of 90 Years Old Man.

Granville, N.Y., May 3. - The funeral of Dennis Rafter, one of the oldest residents of Pawlet, was held from from his home in that village Tuesday. Mr. Rafter was over 90 years of age, and, although a native of Canada, has spent most of his life in Vermont. His wife and nine children, survive, William, Fred and Arthur Rafter, and Mrs. John McCoy of Pawlet, Mrs. Crossman Lincoln and Mrs. William Farar of Rupert, Vt., Mrs. Eli Brayman and Mrs. Murphy of Hebron, N.Y.
