Benjamin G. Rice, a life long resident of this place, died Sunday morning at 8 o'clock after a few days illness with pneumonia, aged 65 years. He was a veteran of the late war and for many years a well known business man. His only surviving relative is a niece, Mrs. Walter Fenton of Granville street. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home.
