Biography
WILLIAM ROAKS volunteered from the town of Montpelier, Vt., September 29th, 1862 at the age of 18, and joined Company H. Was discharged with his regiment July 21st, 1863. (See page 328 for his picture.) Wounded at Gettysburg July 3rd, 1863.
