William H. Shedd

Rutland Daily Herald, Jan. 21, 1898:

[William] Harvey Shedd of Mendon died at the soldiers' home yesterday morning at the age of 62 years. Mr. Shedd was a member of company D, 7th Vermont infantry, and was admitted to the home from Rutland January 26, 1897. He leaves a brother, who lives at Mendon. The body will be brought here tomorrow morning on the mail train, and the funeral service will take place at the chapel of the Methodist church. The burial will be at Evergreen cemetery.
