Obituary

Warren Simpson died Monday afternoon from the effects of gangrene. Mr. Simpson had been stopping in Sheffield for several weeks but was brought to his home here last week. He was a veteran of the Civil war having served in Company G, 15th Vt. Regiment. He was a member of the M.E. church and a constant attendant until his health failed. He leaves a wife and one son. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 1:30 o'clock at the M.E. church.
