Obituary
Putney
Charles Smith met with an accident last week at Wm. Robertson's paper mill, which resulted fatally. While on the plank walk leading from the high ground to the door of the second story of the mill, he fell into the deep and narrow space between the dirt bank and basement of the mill, sustaining injuries, from which he has since died.
