Horace E. Smith

St. Albans Messenger, Monday, February 9, 1880

Horace E. Smith, a soldier in the late war, son of S. C. Smith of East Clarendon, was killed by a tree falling upon him while felling timber in the woods at Belle Prairie, Minn., Jan. 26. His was was 33 years. He went West last spring.
