Obituary
Bennington Briefs
Albert Stockwell, a native of Shaftsbury, where he was born July 24, 1844, died at the Soldiers' home here Wednesday night. he had been a resident of Bennington for many years and was admitted to other home August 13, 1909. During the civil war he served in company A of the 14th regiment of Vermont volunteers and also in the second battery. The funeral will be held at the soldiers' homes t 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon and the burial will be in the village cemetery.
