Obituary
MIDDLEBURY
Word has been received here that Captain Edward Barney, a former resident of this village, but now of North Ferisburgh, died at his home in that village Sunday morning at the age of 65 years. He is survived by a wife and daughter, Mrs. Alice Sprague of Brandon. The remains will be brought here this morning on the 9:45 train and taken to the West cemetery for burial in the family lot. The funeral will be held at his late home in North Ferrisburgh this morning at eight o'clock. Captain Barney was a member of the 6th Vermont regiment.
