Obituary
Ezra Titus
Ezra Titus, a Civil war veteran, died at his home Saturday night at the age of 85 years. He is survived by his wife and several nieces and nephews. The funeral was held at the Baptist church Tuesday afternoon, Rev. Howard Wetherbee officiating. Burial was in Maple Grove cemetery. He had musical talent and for a number of years was a conspicuous figure at the old-fashioned kitchen dances when he played the violin and also the bones. His left hand "fiddling" was a source of amusement to old and young. Mr. Titus was blind for a number of years after which his eyesight returned.
