Obituary
George Walcott died Thursday morning, Nov. 17, after a lingering illness of heart trouble. Mr. Walcott was 73 years old, and for many years has been a respected citizen, a kind friend and neighbor. He was a soldier in the Civil war, enlisting from the town where he died and a member of the G. A. R. The funeral services were held Saturday at the house, Rev. W. A. Warner officiating. The interment was in the village cemetery.
