Josiah Watson

He was shot in the face at the battle of Fredericksburg on Dec. 13, 1862. The ball entered the bridge of his nose and caused damage that would effect him for the rest of his life. He was also wounded at Mary's Heights on May 3, 1863. He was awarded a pension and the last written record of him is a request for an increase in the pension in California in April, 1889.
