Obituary
Rutland Daily Herald, April 17, 1925:
Wallingford - Austin B. Wellman, aged 86 years, a Civil war veteran, died Wednesday evening at his home on Church street, after an illness of a week, following a long period of poor health from heart trouble. The body was taken to Congdon's undertaking parlors where prayers will be said at 1 o'clock Saturday followed by the funeral services at the Congregational church at 1.15 o'clock.
