VETERAN PASSES AWAY
Hanan Wheeler of Vermont Reserve Corps Dies at Soldiers HomeHanan Wheeler, 76 years of age, an inmate of the Vermont Soldiers' Hoe, died Friday evening in the hospital. Mr. Wheeler had only been in the hospital a few days.
He was born in North Hero, November 22, 1835. He enlisted from his native town September 18, 1865. Mr. Wheeler was a corporal in Company E, 13th Vermont reserve corps, and was admitted to the home October 26, 1909.
The remains will be taken to North Hero for burial.
