Friends in town were very sorry to learn of the sudden death from heart failure of Russell Whitford of Crown Point, a brother of Mrs. Lucy Burwell and of Ezra Whitford of the West Side. Mr. Whitford was a frequent visitor here and enjoyed seeing old acquaintances and attended Ladies' Aid Dinner while visiting his sister, Oct. 14th.
Those to attend his funeral at 11 o'clock in Crown Point, were Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Clark and Doris, Mrs. Lucy Burwell, and Mrs. Laura Lamb, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Seeger, Ward and Francis.
