Obituary
NEWPORT NOTANDA
W. C. Whitney, who has been ill with heart disease for a long time, died April 27. The funeral was attended by the Odd Fellows, Baxter Post, Daughters of Rebekah, and a large number of friends.

Newport
W. C. Whitney was buried here last Wednesday, the ceremony being conducted by the Rebecca and Odd Fellows lodge of this place and the lodge from Barton. He was a stirring business man and will be much missed here.
