Obituary
Peter Larabee, a civil war veteran, and long time employee of the Barney Marble Co, m died in the Farrell tenement on grist mill hill, where he resided, Tuesday, April 15, of pneumonia, after a few days illness. He was 68 years old and a member of Company I, 1st Vt. Cav., in the Civil War, having enlisted June 21, 1864 at Burlington. He is survived by his wife and several sons and daughters. The funeral was held Monday at the house, the Rev. William Garner assistant rector of Holy Trinity church, officiating, and the burial was in Riverside cemetery.
