Obituary
HARDWICK
Benjamin F. Morse, for many years a resident of Elmore and Woodbury, died at his home at Woodbury Center Tuesday. He was 96 years old in February. He had been an unusually active man until a short time before his death. He was born in New York State and came to this State when a young man. He served in the Civil War in the Eighth Vermont regiment for over three years and was a member of Elsworth Post G. A. R. He leaves a wife and one son, Melvin G. Morse of this place. The funeral was held at the Church at Woodbury Center, Mrs. Holt officiating.
