Obituary

DEATH OF EDWARD H. WEBSTER

Edward H. Webster, age 87 years, died early yesterday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. L. F. Brehmer, 9 Temple street.

Mr. Webster is survived by two other daughters, Miss M. Rachel Webster of New Haven, Conn., and Miss Ida M. Webster of Rutland, and one son, Edward F. Webster of New Haven, Conn.

He was born in Middlesex, June 27, 1835, but had lived in Rutland since 1878, moving here from Brandon.

He was a member of Roberts post, G.A.R., and served as quartermaster and commander at different times. He was also a member of the Masonic fraternity and a deacon of the Baptist church.

The funeral will be held at his late home at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon with burial in Evergreen cemetery.
