SECOND ATTEMPT SUCCESSFUL
Sickness Leads to the Suicide of Edgar Rowell of Bradford.

BRADFORD, Dec. 12. - Edgar Rowell of Bradford, late an inmate of the Mary Fletcher hospital at Burlington, committed suicide today at the home of a relative in Thetford. Mr. Rowell was taken sick more than a year ago with the grip and suffered greatly in body and mind. A few months ago he attempted suicide by cutting his throat.

He was a veteran soldier, a member of Co. D, 12th Vermont regiment, and a comrade of Washburn post, G.A.R., of Bradford.
