OBITUARY Death of Major Charles O. Brigham of Derby Line
DERBY LINE, Vt., June 24. - Major Charles O. Brigham died at his residence today, aged 52 years. Deceased was a student at Middletown University and at the breaking out the rebellion he enlisted in the Fourth Con-Regiment. He was commissioned as major in the first regiment heavy artillery, which position he held at the close of the war. After the war he moved to Derby Line and commenced the practice of law. Mr. Brigham was highly esteemed by his townsmen.
