Obituary
Dr. Harmon A Buck Dies in His Hundredth Year
Burlington, March 7. - Dr. Harmon A. Buck, who passed his 99th birthday recently, died this morning in a local sanitarium after a period of ill health.
Dr. Buck was the oldest Civil war veteran in Burlington and was probably the oldest physician in the state.
He served throughout four years of the Civil war as an army surgeon and was discharged with the rank of major. He was a native of Fairfax.
