Benton V. Brooks

Rutland Daily Herald, Dec. 15, 1924

The funeral of Benton V. Brooks, 83, who died yesterday in Cuttingsville of heart disease, will be held at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning in the Northam church. The burial will be in the Northam cemetery.
Mr. Brooks, who was born in Londonderry in 1841, was educated in the common schools of that town. He had been a farmer all his life since he returned from service in the Civil war.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Fidelia Brooks, and by one brother, Elmer Brooks of Detroit.
