Cuttingsville - Daniel E. Bucklin, a Civil war veteran, died at his home here Sunday. He was born in Wallingford 79 years ago and had been a resident of Cuttingsville for four years, moving here from East Wallingford. He is survived by his wife, who is an invalid, and was formerly Miss Electa Barrows, two sons, Erwin Bucklin of Minneapolis and Carl of this place, a daughter, Mrs. Frank E. Cole of Cuttingsville, a brother, Freemont Bucklin of South Dakota and a sister, Mrs. Eliza Cook of Mount Holly. Prayers will be said at the house this afternoon at 1 o'clock and the funeral will be held at the Baptist church at East Wallingford at 2 o'clock. Burial will be at East Wallingford.
