H.N. Brown died at his home last Wednesday morning of heart disease, at the age of 57 years. About five months ago he had a severe shock from which he had rallied and was able to be out when a few weeks ago he was taken worse and failed quite rapidly, until death released him from his sufferings. The funeral was held at Green Mountain hall, Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. F.S. Walker of Wilmington officiating. H.O. Gillette post G.A.R. attended in a body. The floral designs were very handsome and tastefully arranged. The burial was in the village cemetery.
