Marvin C. Jones died at his home on West street at 11:45 o'clock Wednesday night after a long illness. He was 69 years old and is survived by his wife, one daughter, Laura L. Jones, all of this place. He was a Civil war veteran having belonged to company K of the 6th New York cavalry. He was a member of the Weed post of Ticonderoga, N.Y. The funeral will be held at 11 o'clock Saturday morning at the home.
