The body of Andrew Welch was brought here Saturday from Morrisville and funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Methodist church. Mr. Welch formerly lived in town. He had been in failing health for some time due to a general breakdown of old age, being about 85. He was a veteran of the Civil war.
