Royal Sargent died at his home at Hanksville Saturday evening after an illness of only a few days duration. Mr. Sargent was a veteran of the Civil War and a member of the G. A. R. Post a wife two sons, William of New Haven and Vernon of this place, and a daughter, Mrs. Josie Gorton, survives. The funeral was held at the church at the north village Monday, the Rev. J. F. Thurston of Lincoln officiating.
