Obituary
TOWNSHEND
Daniel Rufus PierceDaniel Rufus Pierce, 77, died at about 4:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Emma Franklin, with whom he had lived many years. Mr. Pierce had had a heart weakness for some time and had been unable to walk far since cold weather came. He was dressed however and about the house until the day of his death, suffering no pain but gradually losing strength. The heart trouble combined with grip being the cause of his decease.
