Obituary

SHELDON

Lewis Eldred, aged 71 years, died Friday morning at the residence of Orville Putnam at Sheldon Springs. Mr. Eldred has been failing ion health for some months, the result of heart disease. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon. Mr. Eldred was a veteran of the Civil War and a pensioner. He enlisted in 1862 and was mustered out in 1865. He went out with a New Hampshire regiment.
