The funeral of Harvey Rickert, who died at a hospital in Brattleboro last Wednesday, was held at his home on Center street Friday afternoon at two o'clock, the Rev. G. A. Kerr officiating. The bearers were members of C. J. Ormsbee Post, G.A.R., L. M. Gibbs, Eugene Griswold, D. A. Brink and Charles Brown. Mr. Rickert was a veteran of the Civil War. Burial was in Forestdale cemetery, the Rev. L. M. Hayes officiating at the grave.
