DEATH OF C. W. BOARDMAN
C.W. Boardman, nearly a life long resident of this town, who has been in failing health for some time, died last Monday evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. C.W. Marshall, in this village.
He was 85 years old and the last of a once large family. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. W.S. Daniels, Mrs. O.W. Stygles, and Mrs. C.W. Marshall, all of this town, and two sons William Boardman of Battle Creek, Mich., and Edwin Boardman of Craftsbury.
The funeral was held from the Advent Church this morning at 10 0'clock, Rev. L.E. Peabody officiating, and interment was made in the cemetery at Cadys Falls. The members of the G.A.R., of which he was a member, attended the funeral in a body.Submitted by: Deanna French.
