Dec. 6, 1916
Alanson Allard, aged 81 years, a veteran of the Civil War, died Monday, Nov. 27 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Myron Alexander, with whom he had made his home for the past ten years. The funeral was held at the home Wednesday afternoon, Rev. George Pomfrey of the West Derby Baptist church officiating. Music was furnished by a ladies quartet and burial was in the cemetery at East Brownington.Courtesy of Tom Boudreau.
