Obituary
Solon Palmer, a veteran of the Civil War, died April 27 at the age of 88 years. Mr. Palmer was born in New Haven, June 11, 1832. He has resided in this town for several years. Besides his wife, Mr. Palmer is survived by one son, Edward, of Arient, South Dakota. Funeral services were held at the home Sunday afternoon, the Rev. Arnot Dexter officiating. The bearers were D. L. Ross, W. A. Lee, C. A. Purington and D. L. Garland. Burial was made in Maple cemetery.
