Obituary
Death of Andrew Whitehead
Andrew Whitehead, and old and prominent citizen of Barre died yesterday afternoon at his home on Averill street. He has been suffering for some time with consumption. The disease leaves a widow and nine children. The age of the deceased was 50 years, 2 months and 15 days.
Mr. Whitehead was a member of Clan Gordon and of the R. B. Crandall Post, G.A.R., of which he was at one time commander and has been for some time the post adjutant.
The funeral will be held at the house at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon, Rev. Dr. Jackson, officiating. There will be also services by Clan Gordon and the G.A.R. Crandall Post will meet at the post rooms at 1:30 Monday and Clan Gordon will meet at the same time at their rooms. Members of both the orders are requested to take notice.
