Barre, Feb. 22. - A. D. Burgess, a well known resident of this city, died suddenly this afternoon of heart trouble. He was born in Lowell, Mass., where he married Lizzie Stone. They have four children, all of whom reside in this city, George D., Fred, Velma and Frank. There is also a brother, Charles, who resides in Lowell, and two sisters, Mrs. Frank Wilkins and Mrs. Etta Dickie of the same city. The deceased had been a hotel keeper in Barre and in Woodsville, N.H. He was a member of Hiawatha lodge, I.O.O.F.
