Obituary
Death of Joseph Emery
Joseph Emery aged 80 years, a veteran of the Civil War died at his home on Spruce st., Thursday night after an illness of several years of tuberculosis. The funeral will be held at the house Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Mr. Emery was a native of Chambly, Que. He enlisted and served through the war with Company B, Third Massachusetts Cavalry. He was a member of A.R. Hurlbut Post, No. 60, G.A.R.
