The funeral of Elton Perry Doty, Civil War veteran and G.A.R. member, will be held today at 1 o'clock from Finley's chapel, Fifth and Montgomery streets. Rev. W.T. Kerr will officiate and burial will be at Lone Fir.
Mr. Doty was 78 years old, born at Wallingford, Vermont, and a resident of Oregon 29 years. He lived with his daughter, Mrs. A.M. Kelso, 266 Fourteenth street, and is survived by seven children, Dr. H.E. Doty, Concordia, Kan.; Mrs. A.M. Kelso, C.F. and A.A. Doty, Portland; Emerson P. Doty, Oakland, Cal.; A.H. Doty, Neverstill, Or., and Mrs. C.S. Harris, Butte, Mont.Contributed by Tom Boudreau.
