Glover

Glover people and man y of the students of the old Institute, who remember John Allen of Lyndon, who was a former student here, will be pained to learn of his death, which occurred in Athol, Mass., recently, where he had gone to visit a daughter. He was a successful farmer, a good citizen and esteemed neighbor.

LYNDONVILLE

John Allen, for many years a prominent Lyndon farmer, died at Athol, Mass., Tuesday morning. He had not been well for some time and went to Athol a few weeks ago to visit his daughter and also hoping that the change would benefit his health. Mr. Allen leaves a wife, one son and two daughters. Funeral takes place at his late residence this afternoon at 2 o'clock.
