Obituary

Lamoille Newsdealer: December 9, 1863

In Washington, Nov. 26, Charles Downer, aged 30 years, son of Curtis Downer of Cambridge.

He left a wife and three small children to mourn his loss. He was forced to leave his home under conscript act, and made a living sacrifice on the altar of his country's shrine.
