Obituary
Edward C. Hutchinson, aged 80 years, died at his home in Gassetts last Monday from the effects of a shock. He had been a resident of this town many years and at one time did an extensive business making granite monuments, his works being then located near the railroad station. He was a member of company E, 45th Massachusetts regiment in the Civil war. A wife and son, Wallace, survive. The funeral was held Thursday afternoon, Rev. Henry L. Ballou, pastor of the Congregational church, officiating, with burial in the North street cemetery.
