Lewis B. Cobb

Pittsford - Word has been received of the death of Lewis B. Cobb in Castleton Saturday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. D.C. Westcott, at the age of 83 years. Mr. Cobb, who had been in failing health for a long time, was for many years a resident of Pittsford. He was a member of the G.A.R. post at Brandon, having been a member of company F, 13th Regt. U.S Inf. He leaves one son, Fred L. Cobb of Brandon, two daughters, Mrs. D.C. Westcott of Castleton and Mrs. Jay Dow of Brandon, also a brother, Joseph Cobb, of Constable, N.Y. The funeral services will be held in Pittsford Tuesday afternoon at 1.30 o'clock at R.W. Barnard's undertaking rooms.
