Obituary

Sanford Ayers, a, member of the Vergennes Company, the Tigers, died at the hospital, Washington, the 26th ult., of pleurisy. His body was sent home arriving at Vergennes last Saturday evening. Rev. Mr. Morgan attended his funeral at the City Hall, at 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Had we known of it we should have been present.
