Obituary

CASTLETON

Oscar Babbitt, an old resident of this place, died of pneumonia Wednesday, aged 56 years. His funeral was held at the home Friday afternoon. The G. A. R. Post of Fair Haven, of which Mr. Babbitt was a member, had charge of the burial. Rev. Mr. Dayton, chaplain of the post, officiated. Members of the post acted as bearers. Charge was taken by F. E. Mascott. The burial was in Hillside cemetery.
