Obituary
Cyrus D. Gibson, aged 74, a former druggist of Bennington and a veteran of the Civil war, in which he served four years in the 169th New York volunteers, died suddenly Sunday in the office of a physician in North Adams, Mass., whom he had gone to consult in regard to heart trouble. He had lived in Bennington practically all his life and had been in poor health for some time. He was a member of the G.A.R. post of Bennington and of the Odd Fellows. He was an attendant of the Methodist church.
