Obituary
Charles F. Beard Charles F. Beard passed away Monday morning at the home of his niece Emma L. Hubbard in Northfield Falls. He has been in poor health for some time.
The deceased was born in Barnet February 9, 1840 son of the late Bartlet and Sarah Beard. He served three years in the CivilWar as a member of Col D, First Vermont Cavalry. Mr. Beard came to Northfield in 1871 and lived with his mother until her death in 1904 and since that time has made hishome with his niece at Northfield Falls.
The deceased is survived b one niece Emma L.Hubbard and a nephew Fred C. Beard of Montpelier.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock from the church at Northfield Falls with burial in Elmwood Cemetery at Northfield, Rev. G.H.Redding officiating.
