Albert E. Bassett died last Saturday morning at his home on Center street. He was born in Pittsford 90 years ago and was a veteran of the Civil war. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Martha Phelps, and a son, George Bassett, both of this town. The funeral was held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. C. R. Hargrove officiated. Burial was in Pine Hill cemetery.
