Joseph F. Bean, aged 71 years, died Monday, at the home of his sister, Mrs. E.J. Cushing, Lincoln Street, with whom he mad his home. He had been suffering with a severe cold, but was able to be about the house as usual, on Sunday. Mr. Bean was a native of Brookfield, Vt. He served in the Civil War in the 2d Vermont Infantry. For the past 20 years he has made his home in Gardner.
