William Henry Bent, aged 87, died Thursday evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Louis Briggs of Morgan street extension. The funeral service will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. C.M. Sturgess will officiate, and burial will be in the village cemetery.Bennington Banner

The funeral service of William Henry Bent, Civil War veteran was held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home of his daughter, Mrs. Louis Briggs of Morgan street extension. Rev. C.M. Sturgess officiated and the burial was in the village cemetery. The bearers were Albert and John Bishop, William and Edward Bent.
