Obituary
At a meeting of the officers of the regiment last evening the following resolutions of respect were unanimously passed:
Whereas, The all wise Ruler of the Universe has been pleased in the dispensation of his divine Providence to remove from our midst our beloved comrade, Lieut. Jason K. Campbell of Co. L, Brandon, Vt., it is Resolved, That while we are called by h is death to lament a worthy and honored comrade, yet we bow submissively to the will of Him who dooth all things well.
Resolved, That the adjutant be requested to read the resolutions at the Dress Parade of the Regiment Sept. 1St, 1876, and that a copy of the same be transmitted to the family of our deceased friend.
